Whoever said swinging’s only for the young and beautiful? Well if anybody did, let me tell you now that they were wrong! Oh yes… believe me, swinging is very much for the older generation too!
While it’s true that the average age at our local swingers’ club is probably around mid-thirties to early fifties, that doesn’t rule out everybody else does it? We regularly meet members of all age groups, from their early twenties through to… well, I’m guessing early seventies, although I’ve never been rude enough to ask.
One couple in their late sixties, and who are close friends of ours, didn’t get into swinging until about three years ago. Why? Because after thirty odd years of sex with the same partner, they both felt it was time to broaden their horizons and try partner swapping. Our club’s internet site sparked their interest and the rest, as they say, is history.
Swingers get together because they share a love of sex, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they only enjoy sex with young people. Sure, maybe a 25 year-old stud has more staying power than a 65 year-old, but who has the most experience? And believe me, experience counts for a lot.
If you’ve been thinking of getting into the swinging scene but have felt your age is a barrier, do yourself a favour and pop along to your local swingers’ club. I’d put money on the chances of your quickly changing your mind!
