As with anything else that’s remotely specialised, swinging has it’s terminology that the layperson doesn’t always understand but it wasn’t until last night, when a friend asked if I’d be interested in some Greek that I realised this is something I really ought to be telling you guys about.
Obviously, I can’t cover every aspect of swinging terminology in one post but I’ll try to do a series of terminology posts so that you’ll know you can find them here every Saturday until I’ve exhausted the subject.
This week I’m going to explain the ‘cultures’, being as that’s what got me started on the series in the first place.
Greek
Intercourse that involves anal penetration. If anybody asks you if you’d be interested in Greek, they’re asking whether you’re happy to take it up the backside.
English
Can you guess this one? Think about what the English are known for. Think public schools. Yes, it’s all about spanking and caning and that kind of thing.
French
This one shouldn’t need any introduction at all. Think French kissing. What’s being used? You got it in one! This is all about using the tongue. Oral sex, in other words.
Swedish
Massage, plain and simple. Love it!
Roman
This is probably what swinging is most associated with although not everybody wants to participate. If you’re invited to a Roman party, it doesn’t mean you’re expected to wear a toga – it means you’ll be expected to take part in an orgy.
So there you go. Now you know what the swinging ‘cultures’ mean and you won’t get caught out again.
