Foods For Your Sex Drive
Is your sex drive dwindling? Do you find yourself unable to match your partner’s desire? Did you used to be an active member of the swinging community but have found yourself less and less interested in ‘getting about’ lately?
If the above sounds like you, the problem could be that you’re eating the wrong kind of food.
By cutting down on sugar and stimulants such as coffee, tea, cigarettes and alcohol, you’ll probably find that your sex drive increases.
Why?
Sugar tends to make us lethargic and when energy levels are down, our sex drive tends to fly out of the window. On the other hand, stimulants can leave us feeling too wired, leading to anxiety which again is a sex drive killer. What you need is that happy medium where you’re not too tired but not too wired, either.
Animal fats can also play havoc with our hormones which again affect the sex drive. Try reducing your intake of dairy produce, fried foods and processed foods and you could find that your desire for your partner (or anybody else who happens to be available) soars through the roof.
Pesticides are also known to do nasty things to our hormones so it’s well worth trying to stick with organic foods wherever possible. Lots of fruit and raw vegetables can be a godsend for the sex drive!
To further increase energy levels, B vitamins are absolutely vital. Try eating more broccoli, mushrooms, brown rice and eggs.
Vitamin E is also needed and can be found in wheatgerm, eggs, soya beans, almonds and hazelnuts, dark green veg and sprouting seeds (such as alfalfa).
So there you go. Don’t just sit around wishing your sex drive would come back. Take a look at your diet and see if there isn’t something you could do to help ease it back in.
