SFC – The Sexual Freedom Coalition

Swing clubs, fetish clubs and all other sorts of sex clubs are illegal here in the UK. Should it be that way? Shouldn’t consenting adults be able to choose for themselves what they want to do in private places?

For swingers, the Sexual Free Coalition (SFC) is an important organisation because they’re who reason for being is to fight against bureaucracy and outdated laws that make it difficult, and sometimes even impossible, for contenting adults to enjoy sex in whatever way happens to suit them.

They believe that if somebody wants to sell sex and another person wants to buy it then that should be nobody’s business but their own. They believe that if two or more people with to engage in BDSM, that too should be nobody’s business but their own. The same goes for the making and screening of pornography.

Some of the laws in the UK date back hundreds of years and the SFC, along with most swingers, believe that these archaic laws have no place in a modern society and work to have them either removed or reassessed.

The crazy thing is, the Sexual Offences Act of 2003 actually made things worse! In fact, the government actually wanted it to be illegal for 16 year olds to kiss in public!

When it comes to swingers who arrange parties at home, they’re perfectly legal as long as no entrance fee is charged. If the hostess asks for a cover fee from her guests then she can risk being prosecuted for running a brothel! Yes, it’s true. Well, at least it is if she hasn’t arranged for an adult entertainment license (and they’re not cheap, believe me!)

If you’d like more information and the SFC and the work they do, just take a look at their website.
