Common sense. I’m sure we all have it, but I’m not so sure we all use it when we ought to.
The thing is, when it comes to recreational sex, common sense is VERY important. I mean, go ahead and shag who you like, have as much fun as you please, but remember that your sexual health, and that of any partners you have, is IMPORTANT! Yes, important enough for me to write it in big, bold capitals!
Think about it. When you jump into bed (or wherever) with a swinger, you’re becoming intimate with somebody who’s had sex with dozens, possibly even hundreds, of others. Do you know what kind of health problems any one of those people might have had? No, of course you don’t. And because some of the nasties that we might catch don’t become apparent for months and months, we could be carrying them around, spreading them to all and sundry, without even knowing we have them.
Is it really worth risking your health, and even possibly your life, just for the sake of a moment’s passionate pleasure? And if you don’t respect your own life enough to say yes, then ask yourself if it’s worth risking the health and lives of others, possibly even your loved ones? Because if you’ve an ounce of love for your fellow beings, you wouldn’t take that risk. It just isn’t worth it.
Remember: an orgasm lasts just a few seconds – your life is the many years of pleasure you have ahead of you.
Keep safe,
Sadie xx
