OK, so this isn’t directly related to sex or swinging, but I found it interesting and thought you probably would, too.
Evidently, according to studies that have been done at various UK universities, women with high IQ s have less chance of finding a partner than those who are somewhat less intelligent. When it comes to blokes, however, the tables turn. Intelligent men are more likely to attract a partner than their daft brothers.
So what does this mean? That men, even in the noughties, are still afraid of intelligent women? Why? What’s your problem, guys? Surely having someone who can hold a decent conversation and take an interest in the world around them isn’t a bad thing?
Mind you, if researchers in Canada are to be believed, university educated women (and they’re probably more likely to have a higher than average IQ) are more likely to have a lower sex drive than their high-school educated sisters, so the answer could lie there. But then again, maybe their low sex drive is purely based on the fact that they’re only turned on by intellectually stimulating men and can’t bloody well find them!
Catch 22? Maybe.
