Have you heard about HPV, otherwise known as Human Papilloma Virus?

Apparently this is the most common STD these days and it’s so virulent that experts estimate that EVERY one of us will probably contract it at some time during our lifetimes.

Although some strains of the virus give no symptoms and will clear up of their own accord, others are dangerous in that they can cause persistent genital warts that can lead to cervical cancer. In fact, a quarter of women aged 14-59 in the US are infected by HPV and there’s no reason to believe the numbers are any different here in the UK.

Of course, the answer to this is to ALWAYS use a condom but unfortunately there are still some swingers out there who, when the heat’s on and a condom isn’t available, trust to luck and some of them are going to get unlucky.

Please, I really can’t say it often enough, if you’re going to swing then use a condom. Sex should be good clean fun, not a death sentence!
