Imagine: you and your partner have been invited to a special swinger’s night. You’ve both looked forward to it for weeks and then on the fateful evening, a drunken gate crasher stumbles through and starts a row and attracts the police who arrive just as you’re walking into the hall, stark naked.Something like that could put anybody off swinging, but is it really that bad that you can’t give it a second chance?
A swinger’s party is like any social gathering, and let’s face it, you wouldn’t refuse to attend a wedding just because you’d once experienced a drunken idiot start a fight, would you? And if the truth be known, a swinger’s party or club is less likely to attract trouble than your average pub or club simply because the rules are strict and security tight.
Another reason some people are put off is when they meet somebody through a swinger’s personal ad, and he/she turns out to be completely different to the picture on the site.
If you were expecting Brad Pitt and got Danny DeVito, be gracious, be honest and tell them that they aren’t what you’re looking for but don’t let the disappointment stop you from looking.
The idea is to keep trying. Use all the available search tools, including personal networking, and you’ll eventually find others who are eager to share your desires. What you do need to understand, though, is that finding compatible partners for swinging isn’t going to happen overnight.
Screen potential partners in advance. Meet up and make sure you are comfortable with them before you arrange to meet for sex. And whatever you do, make sure you agree to all activities beforehand so there are no unpleasant surprises.
Taking common sense precautions helps to ensure that your experience will be safe, satisfying and worth repeating.
Remember that thousands of men and women have been swinging for many years without any unpleasant incidents, so don’t let a bad one ruin your swinging fun forever.
