No, it’s ok, I haven’t lost the plot. I’m not talking about clearing up the garden or anything like that, I’m talking about nude sunbathing in your garden.
A perfectly natural thing to do, wouldn’t you say? Well it seems not everybody thinks so.
According to the BBC, a Welsh district nurse, Ms. Burgess, was recently prosecuted for sunbathing in the nude in her back garden. Evidently the bloke next door was “extremely shaken” when he saw her, so ran indoors to get his video camera to film the evidence. Hmmm… the mind boggles.
The prosecution said that the nurse’s behaviour was “not normal” but I could name a whole string of people who regularly sunbathe in the nude, including Malc. Oh, and me, of course. It feels good and surely if we were designed without clothes, it can’t be that awful to take them off as long as we’re not deliberately exposing ourselves to the world and his dog?
Anyway, the nurse was cleared of indecent behaviour as the magistrates didn’t believe she intended to cause harm or distress.
One up for nude sunbathing and one up for Ms. Burgess! Good on ya, girl!
