As I’ve posted about before, single guys always have a more difficult time of getting into the swinging scene but after having a long chat with a single guy at the Halloween party we attended, I realised that chatrooms are often used by guys looking to get into the lifestyle.
One thing that’s important to understand is that it takes time to become accepted. There’s no back door that’ll take you away from the queue and there are no short cuts. Patience is the only way.
When you join a swingers chat room, DON’T post anything even remotely like “Anybody want a shag?” or ask others to PM you. Similarly, don’t use a name like “SexMachine” or “HeavyHung” – they really don’t impress. Just chat with swingers in the same way as you’d chat with your friends’ friends. With respect but also with a certain degree of openness.
Remember, these people want to get to know you. It’s the only way you’ll gain their trust. And it won’t happen during one evening of chatting! Remember, seasoned swingers can easily spot fakes so if you aren’t sincere, don’t even both trying.
Answer any questions you’re asked but remember also that just as you shouldn’t ask questions of a personal nature (like “how much do you earn?”), you don’t have to answer personal questions yourself. If you don’t feel that a question’s relevant to the lifestyle or even friendship, say so.
Hopefully this advice will help you gain acceptance and you’ll soon find yourself being invited to a party or to join a couple at their hotel or similar.
