Just about everybody has engaged in casual sex at some point, whether they’re a swinger a not. Whereas it was scorned upon just a few decades ago, today’s young people often see casual sex as just another form of recreation, and as a swinger I can only say that as long as everybody knows what’s going on, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with recreational sex.
It’s when one part doesn’t know what’s going on that the problems arise, and more often than not, it’s the woman who ends up feeling deluded. Not necessarily because the guy wanted to lure her in any way, though. Mostly it’s because men don’t know how to deal with casual sex and are still tend to believe that for a woman to want sex with him, she needs to believe he’s going to offer her more than just a romp in the hay.
But that’s a very old-fashioned view. Modern women are equally as accepting of casual sex as men are, and if men would just stop acting as if there’s more to it than just a shag, there really wouldn’t be any problems. OK, maybe the occasional woman who goes around saying she feels used, but in general modern women are happy enough to take what they want sexually without demanding or even wanting anything more.
So no more false promises of phone calls that aren’t going to be made, guys. Ok? Will you remember that? And no more cuddles and cosy pillow talk after the deed if all you really want to do is get up, get dressed and call a taxi. Sure, stick around because it’s impolite to leave too quickly, but don’t turn things into something they’re not.
